Not Sure if This is the Right Part?

If you found your part using a Model Number search:

Did you enter the correct manufacturer?
Check that the manufacturer you selected from the pull-down list in the "Find Parts" search engine corresponds to the part for which you are searching. (If you have a Sony television, you must search for a Sony remote control.)

Did you enter the correct model number?
Make sure that the model number you entered matches the model number of your specific product. Partial model numbers can be used in the event that you don’t have the entire number. We recommend using at least the first three characters of the model number to reduce the number of matches for you to browse when using this method to search. Did you enter a keyword that describes the part?
If your initial search returned a large number of matches, try using a descriptive term such as "remote", "keyboard", or "battery" in the Keyword field in addition to the Model and Manufacturer information. This may significantly reduce the number of matches returned, helping you to more easily locate the correct part.

If you found a part using a Part Number search:

Did you enter the correct part number?
Verify that the part number you entered is accurate. Numbers taken from the parts themselves are not necessarily part numbers. To be certain that the part is correct, use the model number search unless the part number has been provided by an accurate source.

Still not sure?

Hint: Sometimes part descriptions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. For example, a remote control can also be called a transmitter. A glass tray can also be called a turntable.
