This Whirlpool 74007498 Flat-Style Broil Igniter works with many Maytag, Whirlpool, Amana, Admiral, Kenmore and other ovens.

As you turn on the valve, the gas flows through the valve into a tube, which mixes the gas with air to create the proper mix for combustion. The mixture then flows into the burner where the standing pilot light flame or the igniter ignites it.

  • Size: Just over 3" Long
  • Additional Details: It has a white ceramic base and a gray silicon carbide igniter. This igniter assembly comes with its own metallic mounting bracket, and an eight inch long wire lead with a plastic plug.
